Aloe Vera for Diabetes Treatment, Aloe Vera is a kind of succulent plant species originally came from Arabic and Africa. Often used as ornamental plant, aloe vera are known as wild plants which grow in hot climates. 

Since 3500 years ago, aloe vera are very popular as medicinal herb with many benefits. This plant has been used by Samaritan people around 1875 BC. The Egyptians also recognize the benefits of this plant as medicinal herb since 1500 BC. In fact, the Egyptian called aloe vera as “plant of immortality”.

Aloe vera contains many nutrition useful for human body. From more than 200 kind of aloe vera, one of the best kind is aloevera barbadensis miller which has 72 important nutrition for human healths such as 18 amino acid, carbohydrate, vitamin, mineral, enzyme, hormone, antibiotic, antiseptic, antioxidant, antivirus, anticancer, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacteria, and others. 

Dioscordes, a famous Greek healer, said that aloe vera can cure many disease such as ulcer, skin bruising, chapped skin, blister, hair loss, hemorrhoids, and laryngitis. One of the benefits of aloe vera is to cure diabetes. 


Aloe vera is used in traditional medicine as a multipurpose skin treatment. In Ayurvedic medicine it is called kathalai, as are extracts from agave.Early records of Aloe vera use appear in the Ebers Papyrus from the 16th century BC and in Dioscorides' De Materia Medica and Pliny the Elder's Natural History - both written in the mid-first century AD.It is also written of in the Juliana Anicia Codex of 512 AD.The plant is used widely in the traditional herbal medicine of many countries.


The next following I will give you the recipe of using aloe vera to cure diabetes: 

  • Wash 2 stem of aloe vera, clean it and throw all the thorn. 
  • remove the skin, and cut aloe vera into small pieces 
  • Boil the pieces using 3 glass of water
  • Strain the dregs from the water
  • Drink 3 times a day, ½ glass each after meal.
